Touring...
For those who find that racing goes too fast and doesn't last long enough to enjoy the scenery, Caltech Velo participates in a number of Tours organized throughout Southern California. Distances vary but usually include 50, 100 and/or 200 miles. They are non-competitive events (actually, most of them are not even timed) and lots of fun!
This is the page where you can find the ride announcements and the pictures for those which Techers have participated in. Let me know if you find some missing that you'd like to see added!

- *San Luis Obispo 600Km Brevet - May 17-18, 2003. Christophe, Ofer and Stijn for a loop from San Luis Obispo, up the coast to Monterey, east then up the windy Salinas Valley, and back by the Pinnacles, through Paso Robles, and PCH. Some pictures on Christophe's web page.
- *Davis Bike Club 600km brevet - May 3-5, 2003. Pierre, Brett and Christophe made the trip to NorCal for the event. Some rain, some (steep) climbs and... a lot of miles! Pierre's pictures are here.

- *San Luis Obispo 400km Brevet - April 12, 2003. Third PBP qualifier for Christophe and Pierre. The course was nice, the food was good and the company was great. If it hadn't been for the headwind and heavy rain... Pierre was there, so the slideshow is here!
